The Makita Cordless Impact Driver (DTD145Z) has a brushless DC motor and 1/4" hex shank.
The driver has 3 stage impact power selection, which prevents over tightening of fasteners.
The driver's battery power warning light indicates when low battery capacity has been reached.
The driver's brushless DC motor has a high ratio of power-to-weight and size. The motor also generates less heat buildup, which makes it ideal for prolonged use in manufacturing and production settings.
The driver has improved ergonomic soft RUBBER grip that absorbs vibration, and has a re-contoured rear grip portion and ribbed grip for improved hold and comfortable operation.
