The Lufkin tape's lightweight (but strong) case is easy to handle and rewind, and the tape's two-material grip is comfortable to use. Its open 4-arm frame design protects the blade and doesn't trap dirt in case.

The tape has a folding end hook for true-zero measurements with feet and inches graduating to 8ths, and numbered feet and instantaneous feet.
